About Chris Stewart

Chris is running to represent Ward 1 on the Manchester Board of Mayor and Alderman.

Originally from Vermont, Chris moved to Manchester in 2006 to be closer to his girlfriend (now wife) Sarah. Chris and Sarah lived in downtown Manchester where Chris had the privilege of serving two terms on the Manchester Board of School Committee representing Ward 3.

In 2015 Chris, Sarah and their 3 young children bought a house in Ward 1, which they are thrilled to call home.

In 2014 Chris served as the general campaign consultant for Dan Innis, the first openly gay Republican to ever seek elected federal office.

Chris is a founding member of Our Kids New Hampshire, a bipartisan committee of civic and community leaders committed to tackling New Hampshire’s growing opportunity gap. He also served as the co-chair of the Save the Children Action Network’s “Don’t Wait, Educate” campaign and was twice elected as a Member of the City of Manchester’s Board of School Committee.
